Should we retire Eddie's Jersey?

It took Moon going to the HOF to have his number retired so anything short of a HOF induction the answer should be no. Eddie was a great player and an even better citizen. He encapsulated what a NFL baller ought to be. I think his accomplishments are a touch shy of HOF so no, I don't think his number should be retired. Had the Titans won Super Bowls 34 & 35 and had he never gone to Dallas... yes and yes to HOF and #retiree. As it stands, regretfully... no.

 

If a player is important to the team for years and everyone liked him and he was a star of the team then I think it should be thought about. I do like the Hall of Flame idea. Titans players only.
