Most the time because those types that complain are the TOs of the world. Stat, star hungry talents.

Frankly I don't see what 25 more touches is going to change with him. 2-3 more a game? One more drive stalled a game by CJ sucking is the compensation for 8 mil I guess.

Our record is substantially better when CJ receives 20 touches or more a game. Just saying.

Exactly. Even though we need a RB and likely wait until later rounds to draft a RB... I believe we can get similiar production out of Shonn Greene & a draftee for a fraction of the cost.

He's average at this point. The show is over IMO.

Fresh legs are always a good thing at that position. Call me fickle but I'd draft a RB every three years within the first three/four rounds. I don't care if I have a star talent, the shelf life and consistency is waaaay to short on the position. Plus Rbbc is cheaper on the cap.

If we do cut Johnson I would keep an eye on Joique Bell in Detroit. He has really developed into a decent player who can catch the ball out of the backfield. If Detroit doesn't put a first or second round tender (which is possible seeing as they are against the cap next season and have Reggie Bush) I think he would be worth a pick up.

    Greene/Bell/Rookie isn't a bad depth chart.
