Doan couldn't be a more prefect fit for the Preds. Doan and Trotz are really good friends.

Honestly, I think Shane Doan wants to return to the 'Yotes.

He's spent his entire careen in the Winnipeg/Phoenix franchise.

He is concerned with another franchise relocation.

I'm really excited about this season. Would really love for us to sign Doan. I think 3 yrs at 5 mil per is fair. And we need another D man. Going into the season relying on Blum, Josi, and Ellis could bite us in the rear. Just look at our D corps if the season started today...

We need another veteran d man to either play with weber or Klein. I think Josi will end up on the the first line defense but not just yet. Also, after reading that Blum came into camp hella out of shape, I question his commitment to the squad.
