Shaughnessy signs with Cardinals

    Former Raiders defensive end Matt Shaughnessy, who was scheduled to visit the Titans over the weekend, signed a one-year deal with the Cardinals on Friday.

    Shaughnessy (6-5, 285) started all 16 games for the Raiders in 2012, and had 31 tackles and 3.5 sacks.

    Would have been nice to sign him.

    I am curious why a player, especially one who is offered a one-year deal, doesn't look around and see what else is there.
