Sharpe and Tretola "now" claiming self defense

    I tend to agree with you but I cant overlook he put a unnecessary beatdown on a drunk...

    that is just stupid no way around it.


    yes Sharpe outperformed his draft slot without a doubt, but IMO that said way more about him getting so many snaps than it does about how good he was. If the Titan WRs were even NFL average his production would have been way down because his snap count would have been way down. I totally give him credit for taking advantage of the opportunity but lets see if he retains those snaps with an improved WR group

    If it was that bad the cops would charge him. There were obviously mitigating factors. To cut a guy for "Crime" when he is not even being charged, never mind convicted, is ridiculous.

    And I get that charges do not always come at first but it is not like this is a RICO case or something. It is a very simple situation.

    It is not that easy to sign guys after cuts.

    You also have to consider the fact that Erick Decker has a lot of wear and tear making #4 WR more important for us.

    Then consider chemistry with Mariota, who already knows Sharpe well. You are not going to get that chemistry with a guy added at the end of camp. Even if you can get someone decent, which is a giant if.

    It would shock me if JRob made a stupid move to cut Sharpe over something where he is not even being charged.

    while I agree I also think the Titans will be alert to further developments and dont forget that freakin' Roger can, and has, punished Titans for stupid not-crime

    Probably has great history with him at practice doing 7 on 7.

    But I don't think any QB can build chemistry with a WR who can't get off the line of scrimmage.

    In some backwards ass way this can partially be on our DBs. Sharpe never had a shot on game day due to only getting work vs the saddest secondary in the league...

    Beating Valentino Blake on a Wednesday practice was never gonna lead to anything good on Sunday...
