A lot of people don't like Sherman because he talks, but he is a beast. I think he was the best corner in football last year, by far. I don't care that he gave up a long TD against the Falcons.

Are they planning to play Sensabaugh on the outside when he comes in then move ATV to the NB?

Everyone has bad games dude, it happens. Sherman is a jack@$$ but you can't deny he is a turnover causing machine. If he keeps it up QB are going to stop throwing the ball to his side of the field.

Doubt it. It will either be Wilson or Campbell outside with Verner at NB or Verner outside with Sensabaugh at NB.

ATV DOMINATED the nickel role when he played there for the first couple years (I think). I don't buy into the hype. I will need to see on field production from Coty as I had with ATV before giving him that spot. Scheme says ATV will lose his starting CB role, but he'd be a pretty big upgrade over Coty if he returns to NB. His knack for plays and his ability to cover short routes, in addition to his aggressive and fundamentally sound tackling makes him PERFECT for the nickel.

It'd be a shame to let him walk. He provides starting depth on the outside in case someone gets injured and he is a 'starting' caliber NB as of right now (3-WR sets are many teams' base offense now). Sure we don't know what Coty can become and I'm not at all saying cut him. But as of now, from what I've seen, ATV is the clear option at NB. The only concern is money... ATV will want some at the end of this year, whereas Coty will be much cheaper on his rookie contract. I really do hope that money doesn't sway the coaches to keeping Coty over ATV....

It'll depend on what he asks for in money. Hardly likely we will pay him #2 money if he plays most his snaps at nb.

    EXACTLY!

Thats why I want him to play at NB this year. I think he likes the Titans and will stay with us if we offer him top 5-10 nickelback money.

I think if he mans the NB he will be one of the most valuable players next year. He'll collect a lot of tackles with his sound technique, he'll get some chance for some strips in the middle of the madness, and he'll also take chances on short routes for INTs as part of the new 'agressive' system. I REALLY hope we keep him, he is one of my favorite titans for a reason. The dude BLEEDS consistency... I've watched him a lot (and even on bad defenses) he's always played pretty darn well (even though he's quite young and rarely gets over the top help).

If we let him go, it would be a mistake. Like i said, you NEED at least 3 starting caliber CBs and a reserve who can take over in the event of injury. Coty and Tommie have proven nothing to me yet (though I think they both can be good) but ATV is a proven commodity on both the outside and inside. PAY THE MAN!!!!

Sensabaugh is a little soft to me, he's not physical, but does get in guys ways and is able to hang with WR's, so he has a shot at starting, but I just dont like that he can''t muscle you, ATV can do that better so IMO ATV is still the No.2 CB.

Which is why I like ATV to move to the inside in nickle situations. Keep Coty on the outside where he can use his superior speed. But ATV is still the number 2.

Just as a comparison, he's got about the same size/speed as Revis.
