Second Round Options

    IMO we should take the absolute best player available with our 2nd round pick (make sure whoever it is is not a dud). If that player is an OL (unless we take Ferguson first) S, LB or even RB. I doubt the BPA is a RB or WR based on weakness at those positions but you never know who may drop.
    Based on the draft we make our cuts and sign FAs.

    I agree. With all our needs BPA is a must. But I think that we have to grab the best OLB that we can in FA before the draft. It is a must. Otherwise we are going to feel forced to take a fast OLB in the 1st or 2nd and might end up reaching. I will be totally shocked if we don't make an aggressive move like going after Peterson/Witherspoon/Winborne come March. Both Floyd and Fish have talked a bunch about improving the speed at LB. I think that we re-sign Sirmon to a lesser deal and move him inside and then bring in another guy through FA. We then take advantage of the depth of the LB class by nabbing someone on the 2nd day. By improving our LBs we will greatly improve our safety play.
