Actually it pretty real much does mean they have the toughest conference.

4 different teams in 6 years are the best in the country beating the best teams from other conferences in the championship game.

What else could prove it is the toughest conference?

Face it, you can't name a better one.

That means they had a top team for 6 years... not that the entire conference was tough.

I would like to hear a tougher conference than the sec. The only one I would put within a 1000 miles of the sec would be Pac 12 even still there are only 2maybe 3 teams that might hang with half the sec teams.

Pac 12 and Big 12 both would hold their own top to bottom.

Statistically, Pac 12 has been better lately. (outside of Championships- thanks to the rigged BCS system)

There is a reason the SEC is undefeated in the BCS championship game (against ANY other conference).
