According to the rivals.com the top evaluator of high school talent the SEC had 6 of the top 10 recruiting classes in 2009. Expect much of the same for 2010.

    1. Florida
    3. Alabama
    4. Auburn
    6. Tennessee
    7. LSU
    9. Georgia

The big 12 had 2 teams in the top 10(Texas and Oklahoma), with USC and Pen State rounding out the top 10.

Of the top 14 recruits in the country with a 5* rating 8 of those players chose SEC schools.

And look at the depth of recruiting in the SEC with the top 6 teams adding 20 quality recruits every year.

Eat your hearts out Duece and Eric!

Lane Kiffin couldn't get it done in big boy football, neither could Steve Spurrier or Nick Saban. LOL Nothing more than a buncha big fish in a small pond. The most successful SEC coach came from the Mountain West!

The soon to be most successful coach this up coming season in the SEC has roots in the big east at Louisville, even though he couldn't get it done at the next level.

... and LS-Who? What about the questionable officiating in the SEC? If you can't sit down and watch an SEC game realize that the refs have preferential treatment in regards to certain teams, then you may need to be checked into the insane asylum

Good recruiting classes don't mean jack. Auburn, LSU and Georgia are still going to be average and Tennessee is still going to be crap.

University of Virginia had a top 10 recruiting class for several years and never had an impact in college football.

The SEC is the third best conference.

    1) AFC
    2) NFC
    3) SEC

Tennessee will be lucky to finish in the top 15 in recruiting now.
