How many times do you want to use that lie?

Penn State Grad still sounds better than UT grad, doesn't it?

Not exactly true. People don't realize that the athletes don't represent the student body at ANY school.

I mean, UT is an Engineering school. The program is great, therefore, it's requirements are higher than MTSU. (They aren't high, just higher)

But who's smarter? MTSU football players or UT?

Michigan has players leave every year because they can't make the grade. Guess where those players go?

    Yep.

But Michigan is a top 15 university worldwide academically, also... so not quite fair to compare an SEC school to them. Aka "we have the same academic standards as the sunbelt"...

I was reading something earlier about how the scandal might affect recent and upcoming graduates in job hunts.

They made some valid points but I believe that overall, they were overreacting. If a company cannot distinguish the difference between academics and athletics, you probably do not want to work for them anyway.

That and 1 individual in a higher position doesn't have any reflection on a student body.

    Or it shouldn't, at least.

If that's the case, how are catholics being hired?

    Well

It is pretty stupid to disclose your religion anywhere to an employer.

You get kicked out of University in Canada if you don't maintain at least a 2.0 GPA.
