CINCINNATI After sitting out the preseason opener with a hamstring injury, rookie center Brian Schwenke is scheduled to play on Saturday night against the Bengals.

Fernando Velasco will start against Cincinnati, a week after veteran Rob Turner got the start in the preseason opener.

Titans coach Mike Munchak said Schwenke remains in the mix.

“He’s going to be a force to be reckoned with in there. He’s a big man. He can do a lot of things,” Munchak said.

“We want to kind of see where he’s at and give him a chance to play in a game-like situation, but we’re expecting big things out of him at some point. It’s just a matter of find out where he’s at and whether he can stay healthy.”

this guy is starting to look soft. He has yet to play a down in preseason, he is all but guaranteeing he wont see the field this season because the coaches wont have enough film on him
