^ I think that last pic was stolen straight from "What Dreams May Come".

Haven't seen it, but your comment prompted me to look it up, I can see why you say that.... looks like an interesting movie.

Edit: I am thinking someone played with the color saturation on that last pic, but with the right light, they really can look amazing like that (maybe not to that much of an extreme though).

Looks like you could do some White Water Rafting there.

If you weren't a Texan, I would say it is a really good movie and you should watch it.

BUT YOU ARE. So I won't.

Yeah, you can out on the Rio Grande, but it's a little low right now due to the drought. During the normal rainy season out west conditions are great.

However, it's probably not as good as what you guys have in Tennessee.

Oh yeah, it's pretty amazing. Thank you Texas Chamber of Commerce for your rose colored glass review...

I live in Australia but I don't know if we have any places to do white water rafting. New Zealand has some good places I am told.

I didn't say Nuevo Laredo or Eagle Pass.... I said west Texas, it's a lot more than a couple towns. For instance, Big Bend which is on the border, no issues with cartel violence, same with a lot of other places in west Texas.... I should know... I was just there! Anyway, you are doing a good job of pointing out negative aspects of Texas, so I'm pointing out some positives.

Also, I don't think I ever said Texas was perfect, we have our issues just like any other place, but there are plenty of awesome things here too.
