Oilers81, I was in Lubbock for over a year. I will never forgive Texas for that. Not their people, not their teams, not their schools, not cowboy boots and not their steak.

Texas. The land of cattle, flat places, and lack of trees.

I would feel the same way if my team got blown out 41-7 at home after a bye week when they were missing their best receiver, pass rusher, and lost their starting safety in the 2nd Q :D

Actually it has nothing to do with the beat down yall put on us. It is the simple fact that yall are the enemy and I hate yall. Nothing personal. It's just that simple.

Whoa whoa whoa. Just because Lubbock is a sh!+hole doesn't mean that the rest of the great state of Texas is all bad because it's not.

You are right when you say that Lubbock is a scummy place because it is. BUT there is so much more to Texas than Lubbock. Dallas, Houston, San Antonio and Austin are some of the best cities/areas in America.

Spent a day or two in Houston.

    -Went to the Astrodome
-Saw Jeff Fishers first game as a Head Coach
    -Saw George Foreman
-Saw the boringest game of my life, 10 - 3 loss to the Giants.
-Left a jumper in the hotel never to be seen again.

Jesus, I hope these loser Cow fans don't spend as much time posting on the Cow forums as they do on ours, if so then you guys need to get a life.

Go talk about your own joke team on your own joke forums. I'm sure they'll join in celebrating your 7-3 record where the 7 teams you beat have a W/L ratio of 24-39, and you've only beat two winning teams (one of which had struggled with the Colts the week before, the other which came off a bye-week and is the second worst Jekyll-Hyde team this year).

But no, seriously guys. Go spend time with those like you. Enjoy it with the losers that share your delusions. Because the fact of the matter is, in 3 years or so the AFC South is going to be the Jake Locker vs. Andrew Luck show, and you guys will be fighting the Jags for 3rd place year in and year out.

West Texas, El Paso and the border area is not a part of the US.
Houston is a big sprawling crap hole.
Dallas and the hill country is redneck lollapalooza.
    Waco is full of wackos.

Austin in nice because it's a little like Nashville.
    Padre Island is OK.
    San Antonio doesn't entirely suck.

Texas, a big state with a couple of OK spots...

Lubbock? YUCK! I can't blame you for that after spending that much time in Lubbock! You really have to go check out some other areas of Texas before you hate it, there really are some cool places.

The hill country with Lake Travis, Marble Falls, Lake LBJ, Canyon Lake (one of my favorites). There is a place just outside of Austin where a sand stone dome collapsed and it's now a giant spring fed pool with under water caves.

The coast line (south of Houston) is really cool, I spend a fair amount of time in Corpus Christi fishing and just enjoying the wild life.

Big Bend (and all the rest of west Texas) is really awesome. There's a place called Balmorea Springs, a giant pool (25 feet deep) that is spring fed, built by the Civilian Conservation Corps under Roosevelt I think. Also, the Indian Lodge out in the Davis Mountains (not like the Rockey Mountains), really awesome place.

Lubbock, can't tell you anything good about Lubbock, but don't let that give you a bad impression of Texas. This state is so diverse that if you want trees and hills, you can have them. If you want to live by beautiful lakes, you can. If you like the blue coastline, have at it. Take your pick.....

Have you ever spent any time in West Texas? Seriously? The first time I went more than an hour west of San Antonio was this spring, and it was pretty amazing out there.

Houston.... not a crap hole, not sure why you would say that.

Hill country nothing but rednecks? Sure, I am sure there are some, but man, you obviously haven't spent much time in places like Fredricksburg, New Braunsfels, Canyon Lake (or any of the lakes in the hill country), and Austin is in the hill country btw.

You obviously haven't spent much time and/or have a very jaded point of view. I have been all over the US, my cousin is a Doctor in Nashville and I have spent some time there (cool city). Been all over the place, Texas is a pretty cool state and can honestly say that from experience and have a basis for comparison.

These are all West Texas btw.... not sure how you can hate on that....
