the morning talk show were talking about that this morning. People tend to forget that Fisher has had Young's back for 5 yrs.

I disagree that Young gives them the best chance to win. The Titans could still go forward with Collins and Rusty plus a drafted QB. It is 50/50 either way.

The hardest thing to me is finding a coach who would be willing to come here knowing that he can't control Young esp when Bud has his back. All it would take is Young running to Bud crying about the coach.

Scaife may not have had the year he was hoping for, but he never backed down and stood up and took it like a man and has been a standup guy for the Titans. So to those of you who hide behind this message board and continue to make rude and crude comments about these players are cowards and couldn't sustain half the BS u throw at them and yet you call yourselves FANS!!!! Good luck and Good riddins! Fisher doesn't even have the level of intrigity to tell it like it is...but thats the difference btw a MAN and a boy.

Probably because he's getting top 5 money (Nearly $5M) and he's not producing to justify that salary, he should have double those numbers.

Just an FYI for anyone who says Scaife is good or even decent, it makes you look like you haven't watched a single Titans game this year.

I really think Collins is done. Maybe he's playing hurt (though he says he's fine) but he's gotten really inconsistent with his deep ball. His contract ends this season so the Titans won't do anything regarding him until the new CBA is in place.

I'm willing to be someone would come in with the understanding that they would start Young for his final season. Bud will want to know if new leadership will have an impact. Bud remembers McNair really didn't start having his best seasons until year six and beyond. Young is no McNair but an important thing to me about this season was that the "VY is our future" question would be settled. It's not... at least for Bud.

The Titans were a running team in '08 when he made 58 receptions. The Titans didn't have much at WR and he excelled despite being a focus of opposing defenses. It's the reason he was franchised and he hasn't been as consistent since.

Let's all remember Fisher is the coach that could NOT handle Billy Volek.

    Billy Volek.

Fisher sucks, time to move on.

Volek was openly critical of Norm Chow. Though he was apparently right, you don't do that. Young should have paid closer attention because he did the same thing.
