This is funny. Your issue is with him NOT sitting down, and yet others bash him for not trying to come back in. Which is it? I believe he did stay on the sideline, until after the game was over.

VY couldn't come back in that game and you know it. My point is about the extra display of immaturity that set all of this off. What I mean by "went and had a seat and kept his composure, like a man" is not throw his gear like he did, not curse out Fisher and then storm off after the game. If he would have just acted like an NFL quarterback and calmly made his way to the locker room and taken a shower he would still be on IR but we would not be having this conversation.

VY could not re-enter that game. It was not Fisher's fault. VY just couldn't deal with the fact his season was over. That's all this is about.

No, I don't know it. I can assume it, but all I saw was the same thing you saw via CBS and the All Access video. And VY didn't know his season over, he was upset he wasn't allowed to go back in and that is fact.

Let me say this - I'm not saying he is without a doubt the answer at QB but he deserves more credit than what he gets here and it's blatantly obvious that good portion of the team supports him as a leader and friend and that's more than Fisher can say at this point.

That's no more true than Collins not being able to play with his injury. Vince was throwing the ball on the sidelines better than Collins was the half he played against Miami. The only difference is that Collins's injury needed rehab, and Vince's needed surgery. You see a lot of players hitting IR right now so that they can get their rehab/surgeries out of the way, and be better prepared for next season. If we're in playoff contention, those same players don't go to IR. He could have played. He wanted to play.

I'd rather have VY throwing left handed when his 4 left fingers cut off than Kerry Collins take a snap. I'm pretty sure our receivers would too.

All I saw is what I saw from my seat at LP Field. Why don't you tell me some more about what I saw.

Agree with that...it is amazing what revisionist history is written as the time since the incident increases.

Everybody knew VY could play???? Well, I guess if you ignore the multiple eyewitness accounts (I was not there either, so can only rely on those actually AT the game for this), and the Fisher mic'd up video (where the team doctors very clearly tell him that VY is not able to come back into the game), you could say this. Once again, first rule for successful conspiracy theory management is to IGNORE THE EVIDENCE.

I do not have alot more to add to this, totally agree with folks saying that both need to go in order to get past this. I have said it repeatedly, and will say it one last time....no credible coaching candidate will come into a situation where the Owner backs the diva QB over management. Anyone who does this is basically going to be a yes man.

That being said, I also agree that, in reality, we will likely see both back in 2011, so we will have the sheer joy of seeing more of these threads for the foreseeable future.

I'm missing something here. If everyone has Vince' back why is Scaife saying the lockerroom is divided?
