Saturday visiting on Tuesday

So does anyone know how the visit went? How much did we lowball? Not that I am disagreeing...I think there are better centers on the market and Saturday isn't the run blocker that we need. Sure he is smart and a leader of the offensive line but I want a nasty veteran who can pave holes for CJ.

 

For sure you HAVE to take DeCastro over Konz IF he is there and IF we are taking an O Linemen. However, I think we take the best defensive player available. I think it'll be a DB or a DL

I always hated the "reach" talk. If a player fills your need, and you know he won't last till your next pick in the next round... then you take them. You didn't "reach" at all cause otherwise you would have missed out.

Remember last year, we "reached" for locker at 8th, but they said he would have been gone by 12th. How the hell was that a reach then?

Locker wasn't a reach. He's been projected top 10 since his junior year and there is no such thing as reaching for a QB. Look at Ponder last year.

 

Hypothetically speaking..what if the best player that fills your teams need is rated 2-3 rounder? Would you take him in the first at #20? Or take a different player rated much higher..that very well could fill maybe not your greatest need but could make a huge impact on your team?
