I was there to see that...........

I am not sure WTF happened with our offensive gameplan, was a total joke that game. CJ had 4 carries or something like that in the first half and rusty threw for almost (if not) double the amount of times that VY was allowed to throw in every game before that.

I don't know why we(or every NFL team) don't just carry one starter, one experienced backup and have a younger guy on the practice squad. Lets be honest, if you're down to you third QB chances are you're screwed anyway.

CJ had 7 carries for 9 yards.. I was so pissed at that.

Our OC: "Hmm.. okay guys.. we have a rookie QB making his first start in his career, on the road vs a divisional opponent. Lets only give CJ2K the ball 7 times, and have the Rookie Rusty Rifle throw it 40+ times." Like, wtf? I loved Dinger from the old school days, and I feel terrible about his cancer, but that game solidified the need for him to be fired.

    Yes.... agreed.

That game really pissed me off. Even the Houston fans were wondering what we were doing lol. Not that they were complaining.

It is indeed time for Rusty to show something this offseason. If he cannot show that he is ready to progress then it is time to give his spot to someone else.

Rusty looked decent last pre-season, he's been around a few years, he doesn't get in trouble, I've never seen him bump into Munch or drop the clipboard or anything. I think he is a rock solid #3 guy.

I want to gouge out you're eyeballs every time you post. :p

Rusty has become the Donnie Nickey of our quaterbacks. He has more lives than a cat. He has been challenged in training camp nearly every year with undrafted prospects and he has come out on top every time. He hasn't had to face the competition of an actual drafted quarterback so who knows?

RUSTY SMITH WILL NOT FAIL YOU !
