what do you guys think about routt? he was just cut by a terrible chiefs team after that contract this summer, but he was a pretty solid cornerback when i saw him play when he was in oakland...worth a shot and possibly move him to safety or stay at corner? just looking for others instie
I'd probably pass since it won't make a difference. No need in spending money on a guy who won't help us win more games. I did want him when he was a FA though.
This season Routt has been thrown at 39 times, allowed 25 recs (64.1%), for 491 yards, 3 TDs. 267 of those yards after catch. -via PFF No thanks.
I wish we had the balls to do stuff like this though... really hold players accountable. Too bad Griffin's contract isn't incentive-based. I'd still cut him right now either way though.
