FWIW Mort said Kenny would be out last week too, not saying he's wrong about Roos, just hoping he is. Some people can be active days after this surgery, but football is a pretty intense activity so IDK if he should or could come back so quick.

Roos is a pansy girl wuss baby if he can't get out there a week after an appy. I took mine out myself during a lunch break and was back mowing the yard an hour later.

Typically the recovery time for an appendectomy is 2 weeks. And that is for a normal person. Not for someone who has to play football for a living.

I had one too a few years ago and it takes about 10 days to get over it. Cant see how he plays this week.

Yeah, Peritonitis is deadly. My appendix ruptured and I was in the hospital for 12 days, completely poisoned, 38 stiches and 12 staples cut open from my belly button to my just above my *****. My Dr said if I wasn't in such good shape I might not have made it. Roos had his removed laproscopically so he has 2 stitches and a 3cm incision. He should be fine.

running errands today, got a haircut, tags for my wifes car, voted, topped off my Ranger (FU Algore), got a lottery ticket and walked out of Kmart empty handed for those interested, during all that time there was not a peep mentioned about the Tennessee Titans starting LT Roos having surgery

It is too bad they passed up Roy on that one. And it was close to repturing. They checked him constantly and were pumping him full of antibiotics. It caused a lot of controvercy. Several Montreal doctors came out publicly denouncing his decision to put off the appendectamy saying Roy was potentially putting his life in danger.

Patrick Roy was always a little nuts though. Part of what made him so good.
