Poutasi is known as blank slate to me.

It would be like putting Byard at corner and hating on Jim because he sucks.

 

I just wonder what he'd cost?

Obviously we have the need. I'd pencil him in as starting LG. If Warmack sucks again, we let him go, & Poutassi/Tretola/Draftpick? battle for his starting RG spot.

Gotta get him to sign for an extension though.

Had a 2nd rd tender on him this draft. Maybe offer our 3rd next year? We'd still have 2 1sts, 3rd, 4th, etc. A 4th would be even better lol

 

I don't see where it makes a difference if its guard or tackle, Poutasi gets blown past or manhandled every single play. I just don't see how moving over a foot is going to help that. The guy is just plain bad at blocking anyone. Cant recall ever seeing a player get beat so badly in so many different ways every snap.

 

His waist bending, lunging, and lack of quick feet won't be as big of an issue playing inside. Way more space to get beat at OT.

What the coaching staff did to him last year was just unfair. Played LT in college and then they moved him between LG and RT in camp and settled at RT. Then they benched him multiple times. Dude's confidence had be shot at that point. Thus, he was banished to the bench. He needed to just reset for 2016.

Time for a clean slate.

So what's special about Leary? I don't think I'd be giving up a 3rd or 4th for him.
