My favorite Ron Glass thing ever (they only show a bit of it here) Fred meets Skeeter Mathews, Hucklebuck (Ron Glass) and Rooster and shows them how card sharping is done.. Every person here (Redd, Ron Glass, Thalmus Rasulula and David Moses) is now dead. Ron Glass returns to the show in a later episode to play an ex con that gets hired to work in Aunt Esther's store. In the 80's Ron Glass would share the lead with Demond Wilson in a short-lived all-black version of The Odd Couple..
Never really understood all the hype for that show tbh. It was good. But the rabid following was always a bit mind boggling to me. Pretty BA theme song though.
It WAS a good show... the foundation and characters could've easily made for a great S2+. Firefly is almost THE epitome of being ****ed over by the Network.
