That. He should be gone until next season starts. Elbows are extremely dangerous, and he put a lot of power into that. If he would of hit the guy right in the temple, or eye... yeah.

Deuce, the difference in this and AJ/Finnegan --> Football players have pads, and football is a rough contact sport, NBA is not MMA. Sure people will get arms/elbows in their face area frequently in the NBA, but not the effect of Artest's blatant and violent hit. If Harden's head would have been turned to the left, essentially impacting his face, dude would have been in a lot worse shape, broken jaw/nose, much more severe concussion probably.. or more.

Guy is lucky all he walked away with is a concussion. People are going to say, "well it wasn't a closed fist" but elbows are probably more devastating.
