    Maybe he wants the tint so he can have his privacy. Maybe he gets anxiety or something. Maybe the cop was profiling him and McClain just got pissed off.

    The cops are always harassing people for something.

    If the cops really were harassing him, then the best way to defuse the situation is to not let them get a rise out of you. By reacting the way he did, he played right into the cop's hands (assuming he was actually out to get McClain) and gave him even more reason to harass him.

    Yup best way to deal with cops is to go along with what ever theyre asking. If theyre really being pricks about it, you can file a complaint later.

    The last thing cops want to have to do is paperwork.
