Rocky vs raging bull..

Look, I love Rocky, and would watch the series before my fights. But it's absurd to say that Rocky is better than Raging Bull IMO. The script, the acting, the artistic direction are all phenomenal in Bull. The only thing Rocky has going for it is a nice story attached and a nice performance by Sly.

I also wouldn't even begin to call Raging Bull a boxing movie. It's a character drama and a very dark one at that; there is no real focus on LaMotta as a fighter, and his career is used more as vehicle to show his self-destruction as a human being. Both movies have flawed, almost cartoonish boxing choreography and film styles anyway, so that's moot in my mind.
