    This guy was a stud on a really bad team, and was one of the key components of their improvement in the late 70s.

    That's good news. I don't know anything about him honestly, but 56 is still too young to go. Hope he is able to recover from this.

    I remember watching an Oklahoma game as a kid and there was a huge banner that read "Thank you Mrs Selmon." 3 brothers played at Oklahoma but this guy was on a whole other level.

    He played on the worst team in NFL history but they had a pretty good defense just because of him. One of the best defensive linemen in the history of the game.
