    My Dennis Hopper moment...
I was in Georgetown/DC in the spring of 92 or 93 and there was a panic about this serial killer going around town popping random folks with a shotgun. My friend and I were walking to the movies and got stopped by local news to comment on the killer situation. Out of nowhere Dennis Hopper pops up and in the middle of being live on the news we were tracked and hollered out something like "Hey, there's Dennis Hopper!" rather anything about the serial killer.
We wound up seeing some crappy movie called Nails (starring Dennis Hopper of course) instead of whatever it was we intended to see..

Damn. I knew about Coleman. Had no clue about Hopper. Not surprising, but that's too bad. I read up on his illness. Apparently he weighted only 100 lbs back in March. That's awful.

    RIP

I won't lie, I'll miss Hopper more. I knew he wasn't well, but it still sucks. One of my favorite actors thanks to Blue Velvet.

    in memory of Gary Coleman

    Short People got no reason
    Short People got no reason
    Short People got no reason
    To live

    They got little hands
    Little eyes
    They walk around
    Tellin' great big lies
    They got little noses
    And tiny little teeth
    They wear platform shoes
    On their nasty little feet

Well, I don't want no Short People
    Don't want no Short People
    Don't want no Short People
    `Round here

Short People are just the same
    As you and I
    (A Fool Such As I)
    All men are brothers
    Until the day they die
    (It's A Wonderful World)

    Short People got nobody
    Short People got nobody
    Short People got nobody
    To love

    They got little baby legs
    That stand so low
You got to pick 'em up
    Just to say hello
    They got little cars
    That got beep, beep, beep
    They got little voices
    Goin' peep, peep, peep
    They got grubby little fingers
    And dirty little minds
They're gonna get you every time
Well, I don't want no Short People
    Don't want no Short People
    Don't want no Short People
    'Round here

    "What you talkin' 'bout, Willis?"
    It gets old.

I liked 'ol Gary Coleman, kinda felt sorry for how his life went.

Nonetheless, I'm leaving one last shot,

At least his casket had his name on it...

    Hope he's laughing...
