RIP Buddy Ryan

    I grew up during the buddy era here in Philly....He was definitely amazing. Gang Green. (Jerome Brown, Reggie White, etc) was filthy...It's just a shame the Offense could never put it all together.

    That team was stacked but outside of Ryan, another major factor lead to the fall of the early 90's "potential dynasty" and that was the beginning of Free Agency in 93'.

    Considering how Ryan worked with the offense in Houston that he truly couldn't stop, I wonder if he's at least part of the reason the offense couldn't put it together. Cunningham's injury in 90' didn't help things either.

    Yeah, you have to wonder. There Defense was the sole reason that they were in it. That 46 he ran was nasty. If Jerome Brown didn't die, that defense goes down as one of the best in History....
