    He has a massive role to play in the team's outcome. Even a great defense has to have a mildly effective offense to win a Superbowl. Difference is, Peyton can no longer will the team to win, like he used to be able to. He can no longer carry his team. But if they all do their job, he can help them win it.

    Good thing is, if Denver really struggles in the first half, they do have Osweiller to turn to, and Kubiak will have to have the nerve to sideline the old sheriff if that needs to happen. Cannot worry about hurting Peyton's feelings or tarnishing his legacy. We all know he isn't what he once was and probably should have retired last year.
