Titans former Director of Player Personnel was hired into the personnel department of the Oakland Raiders, per Adam Schefter of NFL Network.

I can only hope this paves the way for us to bring Reggie McKenzie aboard from Green Bay.

How long was this guy with the Titans? If we just hired him, it doesn't speak well at all of our FO.

Uhhh...13 years with the Titans, 9 as DPP. Do you think that's long enough?

He's from that Ron Wolf GM tree in Green Bay, like Reinfeldt. Also, he interviewed and was considered for the GM opening. And then there's my superficial reasons...he's a former Vol, still has connections to Knoxville, and wants to return to the area. And we'd be more stacked concerning talent evaluators.

Nah...he just scurred. He be a'ight next year. And if not, all the more reason to bring in McKenzie and line him up.

    This is from today's Tennessean:

"Moving on: Rich Snead, who spent 13 years with the Titans franchise, including the last nine as director of player personnel, will not get a new contract from the team.

His current deal expires in June, but he's likely to clear out his office soon and explore other opportunities.

Snead interviewed with Oakland earlier this offseason, and Raiders owner Al Davis since parted ways with his top football aide, personnel executive Michael Lombardi.

Meanwhile, the Titans will begin interviewing candidates to replace Snead in the near future."

    Schefter reports on NFL.com:

    "Thursday, May 17
After more than a week of looking, the Oakland Raiders have hired former Tennessee Titans director of player personnel Rich Snead to help replace the recently-fired Michael Lombardi. Snead interviewed with the Raiders a while back, and Oakland also had investigated a multitude of candidates. "

We better hire somebody very good at scouting because based on "Paper" our Draft had some reaches that I think all of us can agree that there were some better choices. So not saying they won't be a good class but MR needs some help in that category.
