    I'd say he's brought us a great player in Griffen, and it's a player that absolutely NO ONE predicted. But I'm happy with him.

    I was talking draft + FA: any way a GM can bring in talent to play for us on Sundays. If one or two of his picks from this year pan out and become proven starters--that's when I can start to warm to him. Or when he brings in a FA that becomes a proven starter (a la Hope). I know it's important to manage money and all that, but my idea of a good GM is someone who adds important players to my team.

    Well he played on the same line as Booger under Dungy back in Tampa way back when, should be familiar stuff for him (save the fact that McFarland's out this year).

    EDIT: btw BigRed, why is it everytime I look at your avatar, I keep thinking at first it's Cris Collinsworth when I know it's Bob Saget??
