So $14.6 million a year for 20 years, basically.
Also, this guy is a moron.
You can't just plop a roof onto a stadium.
Nah. We should only renovate if **** is genuinely falling apart...
Because I suspect we'll get a new stadium some point within the next 5-10 years.
Why? That would make the stadium about 28 years old. These structures aren't cellphones. We can't just upgrade every few years.
Maintaining and improving would be wise. $293.2 million over 20 years or $1.5 billion in 10 years for a new structure. Which is more feasible?
**** it. We got the cap space, use it!
Can't right now Lewan and Mariota will be coming up in 2 years.....
Didn't say it was necessary or feasible, but this city will want the opportunity to host a Super Bowl in the future. Only way that happens is with a brand new stadium.
There have obviously been older stadiums, but 28 years would be pretty old.
If you wait to fix something when it's falling apart... that's called replacing and it'sa LOT more expensive than maintaining.
I would only make a 10 year bet with family or close personal friends. Lol
