crap there might be a good chance he goes to new york since they released plaxico. They'll throw all kinds of money at him and won't be able to say no.

Yeah the Gaints seem like they could be a problem.

If the Giants are interested in Holt they will prob set up a visit soon.

I live in Chicago and there has been a lot of talk on sports radio about Holt going to the Bears. I am not all worried about it yet but I will be if I hear Holt has scheduled visit to the bears. Now the Giants are popping up on ESPN about going after Holt so the longer this goes the less likely. Its like asking a girl out and she says she will let you know and the call just never happens then you find out she is "talking" to another.

I wouldn't worry about the Bears.

    http://blogs.suntimes.com/bears/2009/04/doesnt_look_like_holt_will_cat.html

Both articles basically state the Bears aren't likely to catch his attention (according to his agent); it also says there is plans for a follow up meeting.

I wouldn't worry about the Giants either, imo. A #1 receiver in Tennessee is typically a 2 or 3 to a team like that. Holt wouldn't really be a replacement for Plaxico, someone younger like Anquan Boldin would.

blah Holt wants to be a Titan he is hoping we give him a good enough offer to seal the deal. Fisher said he feels good about what we have to offer Holt.

I'd be surprised if we dont sign Holt next week.

i say we pony up the money and get holt. why pass up on making a deal that would finally solidify our wr core once and for all, or at least until holt gets too old to play.

You guys have any idea on what kind of money he's expecting?

Does somewhere between $15-18 mil over 3 years sound about right?
