Torain just got released. Anyone think we should drop Quinn Johnson and sign Torain? Could be the complement to CJ we need

Does he have prior ties to the organization.. If so, we will sign him, if not, we won't sign him. That's how these threads usually go.

It's a bit meh, neither will see much of the field, if any at all.

Not this late in the season. Only reason Quinn got signed is because Ringer went to IR and we had to repair the run game somehow so we decided we'd pick up Quinn (who knows the offense) and have him block for Hall if he needed to come in at HB.

It's not about having prior ties, it's more about knowing an offense ONE WEEK before playoffs.

This guy wouldn't even get into the offense until conference championship week practically.

I meant more for next year than this year. I dont know when his contract is up, but it'd be good to have him during training camp next year

Nate Washington had no ties...he's been our biggest Free Agent pickup in years.

I'd much prefer him over Johnson, Hasselbeck already has to tell half of our skilled players what to do before the snap.
