Because force doesn't work against the insane, unless it's over ten times what he can handle.

I've been struggling for quite some time trying to understand what has happened to people. Sure, these people are not the norm, but what makes them think that they can behave that way to begin with?

I'm not buying the "bad childhood" excuse....my 'rents sucked too, but the only rational response to that is "I will not treat people the same way that they have treated me" or "My feelings tell me that this is not the way to treat others". In my own warped little world, the tendency is to evolve, not devolve.

    I have a theory.

There are truly some nutters out there that contribute nothing to society. They don't worry about getting into trouble with the law & so when we interact with them we're not playing by the same rules. Good moral always come off worst when dealing with these losers.

Maybe the video guy isn't such a bad guy,he may have been reallty remorseful & apologetic later. I'm not defending him,he probably is a tool but I'm just saying that sometimes normal people make bad decisions.

Anyway my theory is that with 24hr news channels & realistic special effects in movies & tv shows, there is very little left for people to see today that is truly shocking. We've become desensitised to violence & attrocities.

I know a guy who bit off part of someones ear in a drunken fight 3 weeks ago. I'm like wtf that's sick but his circle of friends think it's funny. If you met him sober he's an intelligent, well spoken family man but drunk he's a magnet for violence.
