    Houston Texans
Let the debate about the quarterback begin. Richard Justice writes that a complete evaluation of Matt Schaub should lead to a change to Sage Rosenfels. Schaub's 50.3 passer rating is lower than David Carr's worst full season.
"It's so frustrating," tight end Owen Daniels said. "The defense kept us in the game, and we moved the ball, but we couldn't convert. They've got a great defense, but I think the onus should be on us." John McClain's game story.
The Texans passing game didn't work, with Andre Johnson struggling on a couple passes that could have been TDs, according to Megan Manfull.
DeMeco Ryan's halftime plea helped the Texans play better defense in the second half, but it was too late and the Titans didn't need to do much after intermission to win, McClain writes.
Steve Slaton was impressive, going over 100 yards rushing in the first half and scoring a TD, writes Manfull.
The Texans are $1.25 million towards the $2 million they want to raise for Hurricane Ike relief.
    Indianapolis Colts
The Colts look at their failures in the loss to Jacksonville and point to missed tackles, according to Phil Richards.
Bob Kravitz's report card includes an obvious F for run defense.
The Colts take the high road on Rashean Mathis' interception, when he clearly got away with tugging on a handful of Marvin Harrison's jersey, according to Mike Chappell.
Indianapolis' offense could not stay on the field. "You've got to make the most of what you get in any situation,'' Joseph Addai said.
Fred Taylor did good work motivating the Jaguars, writes Phillip B. Wilson.
Alex Marvez of FoxSports.com says Peyton Manning can't tackle or fix defensive issues.
    Jacksonville Jaguars
"This could have been the game that saved our season," said Rashean Mathis in Vito Stellino's game story.
Josh Scobee had a lot of distance on his game-winning 51-yard field goal, according to Michael C. Wright.
The Jaguars made Peyton Manning watch most of the second half from the sideline. "We showed a lot of resolve, a lot of grit," Jags coach Jack Del Rio said. "We were pretty good [at] possessing the ball."
Gene Frenette's report card: A+ for the run game.
Fred Taylor and Maurice Jones-Drew keyed the upset in Indy, writes Wright.
    Tennessee Titans
At 3-0 after a win over Houston, the Titans are the somewhat surprising leader of the AFC South, says Jim Wyatt.
Kerry Collins threw an early pick and bounced back. David Climer hopes Vince Young saw how that works.
Owner Bud Adams still has Young's back.
Climer's four-down look at the game.
Tennessee's defense won fourth down, writes Gary Estwick.
Jevon Kearse's airplane celebration after his sack is part of his plan to acquire "Freak-quent" flier miles.
Justin McCareins had a fumble early, but his big catch didn't get challenged even though he seemed to land out of bounds.
