He's not the best reciever, but what he brings to the table warants more opportunities in space than what the Titans give him. I have never understood running him off guard, up the gut. I can see it once in a while to keep the D honest, but , at this point, its pretty much a wasted down. He runs more off guard than he does screens or draws. That is not about CJ, that 's poor playcalling, gameplanning, and just inept coaching.

Exactly what I would do. I'm off the single bell cow rb scheme. Committees are the way to save money and keep fresh bodies. Plus keeps talent in check.

We can agree to disagree but he isn't getting the edge like he was when he first came into the league. Defenses have gotten smarter. More tape on how to stop him. CJs biggest runs all have been right thru the hole lately.

Question, why do you think we havnt seen any of the crazy cut back, reverse field runs of his that he was so popular for?

He says about a guy with a TD catch of over 40 yards in each of the last 2 games. Exaggerate much?

Not at all. If you graphed the amount of times he's been thrown to and clearly dropped the ball, it would look horrible. We are doing more to get him screens, something we have been terrible about in the past. I'm not looking at a small sample size of the last two games tho, that's ignorant. He has a history of dropping the easy check down cuz he gets scared about getting hit. This isn't news.

Lol. Yea I'm being smart. Something you would never understand.

Btw, I'm so biased against CJ that I own his jersey. So quit while you are ahead. Take your troll ass self somewhere else. No one on this entire forum takes your seriously. You're the clown of the community. Even DW has more class, you're just a bad knockoff.

Playmakers win championships. Cutting CJ, to resign Verner, Pito, and Pollard? Who would be able to make any plays on O? Keep in mind that CJ has been the only significant playmker on O in the Last 3 games, poor YPC average and all. Even Titans Online is talking about how much Munch is frustrated with dropped passes. CJ maybe over paid, but he is the only legit playmaker on the team. Ain't nobody fearing what Kendal Wright, Jake Locker or Delanie Walker bring to the table on O.

They have the pieces to be a good to great team, they just need the coaching to get them there. Replacing your only playmaker with a 4th round RB does not a championship team make. You'd get what we have now on D. With good coaching, the D is solid to good, but not great. The difference is playmakers, of which there are none on the D. A great D would not have let Wilson and Kap run roughshod on them in consecutive weeks. The D knew what it needed to do, just couldn't execute and stop it. That is a sign of having good players, but no "playmakers". See the importance of playmakers?

He's had one play in each game. RBs don't win championships fella. This isn't 1988.

Look at Verner, was average last year - had some competition in camp, now he's a legit CB. Not saying it's that easy, but competition brings out the best in people. When every snap a RB is giving 100% hoping to improve the coach and get more carries, it can't hurt.

    Shonn Greene
    4th Round Pick
    Cheaper vet FA

That's our RB depth chart next year. All for $10 mil less than this years and will likely get better production. While CJ will be on a team like Oakland avg'n 3.4 YPC.
