is he a rookie?
I'd be fine with this if it doesn't cost too much. He's a bruiser who can pick up 3rd & 2 and get in the end zone in short yard situations. We've really struggled in those situations. This is going to help the offense a lot.
I'm with most here, so long as the price is right it's a good pickup. He's not anywhere worse than LenWhale was, and that CJ/LenWhale thing worked out pretty well for us. Seems like we're trying to get back to running the ball and that's fine by me. A running game would do wonders for Jake's progress.
Greene is just a waste of valuable money. I hope this isnt true!
How much did he sign for?
He doesn't know, it's not confirmed he is signed anyway
I don't think the front office would spend a lot of money when we already have Chris Johnson so the contract probably will favor us. Greene shouldn't have a problem with this role, he's not a full time starter anymore and he's been in roles similar to this anyway. This would be a really good signing for us and just another position we don't have to worry about early in the draft.
Whatever it is, it's too much. We have much bigger holes....Such as our CRAPPY DEFENSE which we have yet to upgrade at any position except for George Wilson who is just slighty better than what we had last year!
Bring him in. I have no problem at all with Green being our #2.
Per Jim Wyatt, Shone Greene is expected to sign with the Titans today during his visit.
