would someone with his stats want to backup Johnson?

Greene, a four-year pro, rushed for 1,063 yards last season.
The Titans are looking for a bigger back to complement running back Chris Johnson, and the 5-foot-11, 225-pound Greene, known for his bruising running style, would fit that mold.
Green is 27. In his four seasons with the Jets he had 3,423 yards on 822 carries, a 4.2-yard average. He’s recorded back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons

If we have the cap space, this would be a great deal for us. He would be great in his 10-12 carries a game. He is a bruiser with our new o line could be very good. People want a mid round pick instead, but this is an awful draft for rb and that last two we tried to get mid round didnt really work out, Ringer and Harper. In Greene we know what we are getting

Adding Greene will really help sustain drives, I bet Jerry Gray is thrilled about Greene possibly becoming a Titan.

not only that, but I think we all want a fresher CJ instead of the one that's been run into the ground the last 5 yrs.

Never been a big fan because most of his games are 20 carries for 40 yards and then he has one big game that inflates his stats. So some would say he's somewhat like CJ without any big play ability lol. As long as we're only expecting him to do something on 2nd and 3rd and shorts I think he will be great for us. We better not overpay though. We can get someone like this for real cheap.

I wanted us to draft him, so I'd be ok with this. I think he's better than he gets credit for.
