This very true, but the problem was the year before than and so on. Was this a problem with Reinfeldt or was it simply a stranglehold by Bud? Jerry reese is that last GM I can think of that did anything close to this in FA.

It's too much. Probably won't matter, but it could mean someone more important doesn't get extended down the road. I like to see good value deals and this isn't one.

I'm all for Greene being on the team. Just wish the FO didn't give him so much guaranteed cash. He's far from a stud.

It's very clear that everyone in the FO knows this year is it for them, so they are going all-in.

They can pay his guarantee off this season and have money to spare... 4.5 mil g? It's not like it's an additional 4.5...

Besides money, how else do you suggest we lure these FA's in?

People want the best of both worlds ... Small mArket teams like us have to overpay once and while and it wasnt even that bad
