:hmm: I don't know about all that. I think the team had pretty much quit on him last season before VY took over. I refuse to believe the '09 Pats were really 59 points better than the '09 Titans. The team had quit, plain and simple.

 

I'll guess 16...Only fitting that a mediocre coach be at the median point...

 

This ranking is but another example of reputation overpowering reality. How in the hell a coach with a .557 career win %, 5 playoff wins in 16 seasons and 0 rings could be ranked that high is mind-boggling. :sad2:

 

We discussed this on the Ravens board - not sure why he is constantly rated so high given his record. And if you're gonna make a list, have the balls to rank Harbaugh and Rex Ryan separately - giving them a tie is BS.

 

Well I mean, to be honest, there's only really 4-5 coaches that are worth a damn right now, it's not #2 all time..so.. realistically there's not many good coaches actually coaching right now so it's not a huge surprise.

 

Wow...what a complete joke. We haven't won a playoff game in 7 years, and yet our coach is the second best in the league? Thank you for proving, Baltimore Sun, that everything in Baltimore is trash.

 

Tomlin and Payton should most definitely be ahead of him IMO.
