Rams cut Chris Long, James Laurinaitis, Jared Cook

    Still doesn't sound like a Fisher move to cut a declining player.

    Laurinaitis does make a lot of tackles, but they are not usually near the line of scrimmage. Not shedding blocks and hitting the runner 5 or 6 yards down the field is not going to help end many drives. He plays like d'qwell Jackson has been playing the last couple of years. He isn't an upgrade over what we currently have. A good ilb makes tackles around the los.

    Long is a 4 3 defensive end. Don't need to try to fit a square peg in a round hole. We already have more tight ends on the roster than we do receivers. The Titans upgraded when Cook was let go and Walker was signed. One of the few things Webster got right.
