Question about the game Sunday?

    I just saw on ESPN that the Jags game is blacked out. Is this for real? Does this mean that our game won't be televised?

    No, i'm pretty sure it means that it's blacked out in local markets. Not sure though.

    Thanks. I know that probably sounds like a stupid question but I wasn't quite sure what that meant. I know it means that the Jags suck and nobody wants to go watch em play, but aside from that, I'm not sure.

    They'll be in LA before you know it.

    I think its just local. I read somewhere that almost all of the Jags game could be blacked out. Sucks for them!

    All of the Jaguars home games will be blacked out in their local market this year. They've even decided to purchase a new tarp. A giant one will be draped over the entire stadium to hide their shame pending a sale of the team.

    It's just blacked out in the local market, usually roughly a 75 mile radius around the stadium. They only punish the local fans, to encourage them to go to the game if they want to see it. We'll get to watch, no worries.
