As a buyer beware look at ADT and the complaints filed on the consumer affairs sight. They are the #1 security system provider for Uncle Sam so I am sure some jerk b*tching about how bad there service is amount to all of nothing.

One of the people declined the service when the sales person came to the door and they put ADT stickers on there car and spray painted there lawn. ADT basically said "so what" they are only selling our product we do not have control over them at all. On top of that anybody can become one of these sellers with no background check at all. So they people can basically case your place under the gize they are selling house alarms!

ADT claims they only sell the monitoring service not the actual equipment or install.

  3. But if you signed a contract that included the installation (whether they performed it themselves or not), then they legally should be liable for that installation.

This is why I suggest small claims court. They probably don't think you are worth the trouble and won't even show and you'd get a default judgment.
