Mettezenberger or Murray. I really like Murray. He could heal while Jake starts and whitehurst could help him learn system for when Jake gets hurt.

I think Murray is going to end up being a solid pro. I'd spend a third on him if he was there. However, we do have some holes to fill and have no idea how the staff has this draft evaluated.

Seems like everyone really likes Murray (including me).. Makes me question his round 4-5 "grade." I think he'll go earlier than that but man I'd love to get him in the 4th/5.

Four months ago everyone hated Murray. Now everyone loves him. I still don't get it.

Lol. We do need someone to come in behind locker.dont think whitehurst or Wilson are the answer either. Wouldike to see us get that 3 back to get a QB to develop. Not sure Murray there in the 4th. Especially if shows out on his pro day. The biggest thing about QBis how the staff evaluates them. Like munch wanted Locker. Someone may want one in the 4th and another team wants them in the second. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

What is up with the idea of needing a third QB? Waste of a roster spot. Put Tyler Wilson on the practice squad so that when Locker gets hurt we have someone who is familiar with the offense to fill in as #2.

People forget that Wilson is a year removed from being a fourth round pick. We already have a mid round pick developmental guy on the roster. Why waste a pick on another one?

Go with Locker until he gets hurt. Whitehurst leads us to the first pick. Whiz gets his guy in 2015.

    I'm the opposite.

I don't get where this absurd "round 3-5" grade came from.

The guy was clearly- leaps and bounds- best QB last year... yet stays a year. And due to an ACL injury he gets bumped to round 4 grade?

Makes no sense. Now if it were Johnny "All I can do is run around" Football, I'd get that. But a pure pocket passer with an ACL injury with an entire season to heal pretty much? Who cares?

Meanwhile people have boners for crap guys like Johnny, Bridgewater, and even AJ McCarron. Really?

Could it be his height 6'1" and weight 208 lbs? Russell Wilson supposedly fell to the 3rd because of his height. Murray could have that as well as the ACL going against him in scouts and GM's eyes.
He could be a Drew Brees type player? That'd be fine with me :)

It's official. Every QB who is short is either Drew Brees or Russell Wilson. Just like every white WR is Wes Welker. And every white RB is Mike Alstott or John Riggins.
