Go ahead and compare Poe's stats to Ngata's in their respective last years in college. They're identical.

Poe as JR: 8 TFL & 1 Sack; Ngata as JR: 9 TFL & 3 Sacks.

The guy was always going to be a top-20 pick. People that didn't know that didn't know anything about what he brings to the table.

Mike Martin is a Jurrell Casey clone. Would give us 2 300lbs DTs that are athletic enough to chase plays down.

Brandon Boykin is a tough nosed kid that would look good in Titans blue.

Hightower is a baller pure and simple. Is a better pass rusher than Kuechly. He is multidimensional which is what Gray likes.

I would be very happy with those 3 guys as our top 3 picks.

We only signed him because he was the only available pass rusher worth anything on the market at the time

Big fan of Mike Martin. He's ate of Illini this year. Wouldn't want to spend a 2nd on him, would love him with the 3rd rounder... but he's shooting up draft boards. Not sure if he'll be there at our 3rd.

I have Martin with a solid 2nd rnd grade and would have no problem taking him in the 2nd rnd.

The kid is a leader. He is strong as an ox. He also is quicker than most people give him credit for. He might not have huge production numbers but rarely do NTs post a bunch of tackles and he was a NT in the Michigan 3-4 defense.

You put Martin and Casey together at DT and you have 2 really stout and quick DTs.

Pac 10 vs. Conference USA, yup no difference in talent at all.

I wouldn't take Poe or Mike Martin. There's too many good DT's with so much more production in this draft.

Mike Martin should not be compared to Casey. Casey had 11 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks the year he came out(as a junior). Mike Martin had only 6 TFL and 3.5 sacks his senior year. I'll pass.

Poe got 8 TFL and 1 sack in a HORRIBLE football conference. :sad2::sad2:

Tell that to Chris Johnson, who had one year of production in C-USA.

^ CJ had 2000 all purpose yards and 23 td's in 13 games.

A 350 pound, 1st round projection should have more than 8 TFL and 1 sack in the C-USA

So now it's not the conference that makes the difference, it's the position.

    Gotchya.
