Kuechly is a better fit a Will then Mike.

    Colin is a better Mike.

    Kuechly is a prototypical Will.

He is fast and a chaser , not a block shedder.

Yup, he's explosive in gym shorts, just not on the field.

The difference is, and for the sake or your argument, Poe couldn't hold Ngata's jock. Poe is not, and nothing close to a dominant player. He looks like Tarzan and plays like Jane. Poe is not going to force a double team because he's not a good football player I'm sorry bud. Your whole argument is based on the fact that Poe is some sort of inside dominant force and we'll just never agree on that. To me Poe is best suited for a 3-4 because he's so big and strong that when he is double teamed, based on the fact that he plays on the nose, he'll be stout against it. Five sacks in three seasons, he's one hell of an inside force :)

I think Copels has all the right measurables, but I question his heart. I'd rather we keep drafting guys that go balls to the wall all the time like Klug and McCarthy do. Copels and Haynesworth, and others are bad for a team cause they don't provide consistency. It could be hard to play beside these kind of players cause you can't be sure if they're going to always be there for their part.

If Coples played all out, there is no other player in this draft that would fit our scheme better.

I've never seen a guy who's 350 pounds beat an offensive tackle with a spin move.

I will say I'd like to see him play meaner.

If he played hard all the time there would be zero mocks having him hanging around at 20 for us to take. That's the scary thing about this guy, he may actually be there at 20 for us to make a mistake on. I know if he's there at 20, we're picking him.

I don't know that he won't pan out, he could be great, even at half effort he can be good, but I hate seeing guys slow down cause they can get away with it. I'll possibly end up hating Copels because I'll see him dragging azz 20 yards behind a play just cause he's 20 yards out.

    Dontari Poe...

    36 games - 5 sacks.

MTSU (Middle Tennessee State I think) - 1 sack

    Marshall - 2 sacks

    SMU - 1 sack

    UTEP - 1 sack

3 year total of 21.5 tackles for loss :(

    .14 sacks per game

.6 tackles for loss per game

Guy had a 3rd to 5th round grade before the Underwear Olympics. Now he's a top 10 pick right, pathetic?
