I've been slacking in getting my stuff scanned. Finally got my **** together.

First up, I broke a box of 2008 Topps jumbos... ouch. Here are the two hits...

    Keena Turner NFL Dynasties Auto

    Marcus Monk Performance Highlights Auto
    [IMG]

Also scored a bunch of titans and rookie cards of the top picks, here's McFadden
    [IMG]

Keeping on the Raider theme, snagged this for a buck on eBay (had already purchased something from the seller so the shipping was free)

    yet more...

LaVelle Hawkins 08 UD Heroes Auto 098/250
    [IMG]
(nice hard auto... I think the 90's throwback design leaves some cold, but I likes)

Algernon Crumpler 01 SP Authentic RC 097/550

The best RC of VY's new safety valve. I over paid for this I think... but was sick of trying to snag one on the cheap only to come up short.

Paul Williams 07 Classics School Colors Auto 13/25
    [IMG]
I've always liked these... my first signed version. PW cardboard is cheap.

Paul Williams 07 Leaf Limited 92/99

pesky foilboard card... doesn't scan well but is pretty nice in hand.

yes... if you look closely... very closely, CJ's lame-a
    ss sig is on there.

A couple of sweet pick-ups for the Griff collection...

07 SP Authentic Authentic Gold 01/25

oooh numbered 1 of 25... card isn't in the greatest condition though. Hard sig!

07 NFL Playoff Platinum Auto 1/1
    [IMG]
another 1/1 for the collection... probably should have posted these in the Griff thread, but I was on a roll.

    and finally

    Lendale 06 SP Authentic 840/999

Beautiful looking (and expensive) card. It took me close to two full years to grab one but finally landed this for just under $40.

Very nice Griffins. I'm slowly building a good collection of him.

$40? The most I pay for a card, with shipping, is like $8. I'm cheap and I'm broke, so it's not my fault.
I'm waiting on one of these to show up. How quick was the shipping? From gotbaseballcards, right?

    That LenDale card is niiiiiiiice.

My boy went to a thrift store and bought that McFadden for 5¢. That boy stumbles onto stuff. He found a rookie Chipper Jones at a yard sale for 50¢. :ha:

I'm not ready to jump into Paul Williams or Lavelle Hawkins until they do something on the field. Of course, if they perform, their prices will jump.

I got one nice Hawkins auto RC for $4. I'm not willing to get PW stuff until he makes the roster. I'm not convinced he will pan out. I hear Hawkins is the real deal though. Plus, low risk, high reward.

Mine were from Burbank Sportscards... 10 day turnaround.

$40 isn't too bad. More than I normally spend on board, but within the old budget. I guess it's all relative.

Mmm... ok. Hopefully, mine comes tomorrow.

I wish it was in my budget. But, my general fund is under $100, so I gotta slow down, even on my cheap pickups.
