it could easily be 7-9, 8-8 or 9-7. I went 9-7. Until the offense proves it can score TD's instead of FG's they will have problems

instead of trying to make wagers with people why don't you just explain why you think the offense got significantly worse from last year. We went 10-6 last year with an offense that I think will be much worse than what we have this year.

Then that should be an easy bet for you. I'm as big of a Titans fan as anyone here, but I don't lie to myself..and I also live in reality. I'm putting my money where my mouth is. Is anyone else? My inbox is empty :(

But, if you want to know why I'm confident we will not win 11 games this year is because last year we snuck into the playoffs with an insanely dominant defense. Our defense maxed out, so we will need that again. Unfortunately we aren't playing as terrible of teams as we did last year either. Wins will be much harder to come by.

If we can not get into the endzone against a defense like the Bengals last year..and that's when they go into prevent D...then I am not confident going into any game that we can score a single point unless our D gets a turnover in Bironas's range.

I went with 7-9, but I don't think the team is going to be significantly worse.

I think the D will have a tough time hold on to the ranking. I think they will still be dominate. I'm just think it would be tough to repeat and be as good as last season. The O can't get worse.

I just think we won't get the lucky breaks this year for some reason. But I see anywhere between 6-10 and 11-5 as very possible. Anything below or above and I would be pretty shocked.

We have a better shot at 5-11 than we do 12-4. The reason is that if we get down 10-0 we have about a 1% chance of coming back. And, if we go up 10-0, instead of adding more points, we rely on our D not to make a mistake. Thus, the bottom end of the range is much more accurate in my eyes.

Well, if we start and end the season with our current receivers that is. Bring in an elite receiver, and we can not go worse than 8-8 witha lot of bad luck. A little luck our way, and 12-4 and even 13-3 is reasonable as is the division. We do not have the personnel to win a division right now unfortunately.

We had I believe the 3rd hardest schedule last year so i'm not sure why you think we had a cupcake schedule. And our offense was capable of moving the football last year, we could just never punch it in. 11-5 is what I think the best case scenario is which is why I would never bet on it. Just like you wouldn't bet on the titans winning 7 games or less. And since you're living in "reality", in reality we went 10-6 last year with a very bad offense. And why are you even a fan of the titans if all you do is complain and think the team is terrible? Once the season starts if we start losing games I could understand if you were bashing everyone but it's preseason and most fans like to have an optimistic viewpoint on the upcoming season.

    You are absolutely correct, sir.

I still say we win the Super Bowl. Take some of that optimism.

Our offense can't get any worse. That saying I don't think we can lean on our defense as much. So I think the range from 8-8 to 10-6 is probaly where we'll finish. The most important player this year isn't VY it's Haynesworth. If it wasn't for Haynesworth our D wouldn't have been so good. So if he plays for that monster contract again and is an all-pro then 10-6 or 11-5. If he goes back to his old self. 8-8 or worse.
