This is laughable at this point. One year of solid product "definitely not JRob pick" to raw. Three years of solid production but time spent between multiple positions " coaches expect him to grow".

It's just banter, the pick doesn't line up well with his other picks. That leads the question, why? What was the deciding factor?

Okay a guy who played offense, defense and special teams then spent his off season running track is an experience player at the Cornerback position your right. Let alone he wasn't that great in coverage until this year! He is raw Cornerback prospect who we took a chance on because of his speed and special team abilities. Dodd had a great year after playing behind some great players. Last time I checked USC wasnt a Cornerback factory turning out 1st round talents ever year.

Agreed. His return ability bumped the tiebreaker. Obviously Marc Mariani's fear of coming out of the endzone dictated to JROB covering multiple phases with that pick as opposed taking JUST A CB...

So what do you chalk the dodd pick up to? Was he raw? Or inexperienced?

Yea it appears the team tried to cover multiple phases in that pick. It'll be interesting to see if it works out.

Its just funny after two draft people think they know "JRob drafts". Or certain picks weren't his because it's not his mold. But out of the two drafts we got Dodd, Jackson, Wallace, Brown who are all raw/inexperienced players at their respective position.

No one said the dodd pick wasn't his, there were questions as to what the was driving factor. If we are going to piss and moan about 5th round picks, well, you can piss by yourself.
