Ahh. I don't think it's a terrible idea. Long as it doesn't negate his speed.

He should only oblige to the team that's drafting him.

It's rare a big guy gets faster when he puts on weight.

I don't hate taking Ealy, AS LONG as they get extra picks. Outside of that, no thank you.

He doesn't have to get faster, just not lose his current speed.

I don't get the Kony Ealy hype. I don't think he's an ideal fit at 3-4 OLB and some people are talking about him bulking up to play 5 tech in a 3-4. I don't get that position switch. He seems best as a 4-3 DE, I think he will have a Derrick Morgan type career.

I'm not big on Ealy at all, I'd only take him if we trade back as far as 25-30. But I do think he can play OLB in a 3-4 or DE in a 4-3. Position switch doesn't make sense.

It has been interesting to read the progression of this thread.

I still say we have to trade back and either grab another 2 or a 3. So many talented prospects this year to ignore.

Trade back, take BPA in 1, RB/WR in 2. Aaron Murray in 3.

Of course I'd be fine trading back and taking Carr in the 1st if he's still there.
